Juna Welcomes Two New Hires as Part of Strategic Growth Plan

In an effort to continue to advance our firm and serve a growing and diverse client base, Juna Financial Solutions is thrilled to announce two new members of the Juna family. Ann Marie Williams joins as our first-ever client operations manager, a new leadership position that we established to help ensure operational and client service excellence as we continue to grow. Janelle Gaffer also joins the team as our third controller to meet increased client needs in the area of outsourced accounting services.

Meet Ann Marie Williams

We’re thrilled to welcome Ann Marie Williams who will support Juna’s mission of bringing the sophistication of a large company accounting department to Juna’s clients by managing our operational systems, processes and policies to support our growing client base and team. Ann Marie will serve an important role in continually improving our procedures and policies to ensure client satisfaction and retention. In addition, she will assist with the professional development of the growing Juna team.

Ann Marie is a passionate operations, marketing and project management professional with 30 years of wide-ranging experience, including  but not limited to: Fortune 500 companies, a start-up and marketing agency, as well as owning a small business offering organizational and productivity coaching and solutions. Most recently, she served as senior manager of operations for Ten Percent Happier, Inc., a Boston digital start-up and also a Juna client.

Ann Marie earned her Associate’s Degree in Retail Merchandising from the former Aquinas Junior College in Milton, Mass.

Outside the office, she enjoys her cat Jack and spending time with family and friends.

Meet Janelle Gaffer

Janelle rounds out the experience of Juna’s controllers with her background in public accounting as an audit manager focusing on nonprofits and governmental industries.

A certified public accountant, Janelle brings nearly 20 years of experience in GAAP accounting, especially for nonprofit organizations. She comes aboard after working as an audit manager at accounting firm Downey, Pieciak, Fitzgerald & Co., P.C. of Springfield, Mass., for the past four years. She prides herself on being meticulous, accurate and tech-savvy.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and her Master’s Degree in Accounting from Western New England College (now Western New England University).

Janelle lives in Palm Harbor, Florida with her family, and enjoys the many outdoor activities the area has to offer.

In addition to the two new hires, Juna is seeking as many as three new accounting associates by the end of the year.
